Scott Circle was tasked with securing press to write about the opening in advance, and attend and cover a grand opening luncheon, where Maggiano’s would also preview a new “Lighter Take” menu. Through targeted, aggressive media outreach and working closely with the marketing team at Maggiano’s, Scott Circle was able to secure over 55 press hits for the grand opening. Additionally, Scott Circle pitched local TV outlets and secured a cooking segment for a Maggiano’s chef, where he cooked dishes from the “Lighter Take” menu live on local television. Scott Circle’s work also included advising and creating the speaking program, recruiting civic leaders to participate and briefed Maggiano’s executives on their activities. Maggiano’s experienced a packed house for opening weekend and people on the team said, “I wish I could take the Scott Circle team with us for all our openings.”
